The ALNCO CARE Shield Walker is the standard, non-pneumatic member of the range: a straightforward fixed-shell walker for patients who need reliable immobilisation without adjustable air compression. The rigid shell and aluminium uprights hold the foot and ankle in a protected neutral position, while the moulded rocker-bottom sole assists a rolling, natural gait so walking stays comfortable. A thick padded foam liner cushions the limb and can be removed for washing, and wide circumferential hook-and-loop straps allow the fit to be set once and adjusted quickly as swelling changes. The non-slip outsole gives dependable grip on hard floors. Because it has no air bladders, the boot is lighter, simpler to use and the most economical option in the range, which also makes it well suited to clinic and rental use.
